This little gem of a book (only 51 pages) is loaded with information and images from Picasso's time in Paris with Gertrude Stein. I was a novice on the subject and was looking for information for a research paper when I found this book through my University library. This book turned out to be my main source of information and I loved it so much that I bought it! Easy to read and with great pictures of Picasso's art, photographs of Gertrude and her family and so many stories! If you are a fan of Picasso or Gertrude Stein or if you don't know anything at all about either of them, this is a great place to start. You will definitely be a fan of both after you read this book! (After reading this book, I had to know more about Gertrude so I bought and read "The Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas". That book was also great!) I highly recommend this book. Buy it. You will be glad you did!
